Ealier this month, 2NE1 has been nominated for MTV IGGY’s "BEST NEW BAND IN THE WORLD". MTV Iggy focuses on looking for the newest and hottest music from around the world. Artists with raw talent that makes you want to dance, cry and scream with joy all at once. And this year, it looks like 2NE1 has caught their eye in a big way and made it to top 10.

On October 24th, MTV Iggy revealed the top 5 finalist. These are the bands with the highest scores on online voting. 2NE1 made it to top 5 along with other artists including the Pakistani rocker ATIF ASLAM, the Venezuelan band LA VIDA BOHEME, the young American SKRILLEX and Malaysian singer/songwriter YUNA.

However, the battle is not yet over. Keep in mind that the race is still anyone’s game. The countdown clock is ticking, so I'm calling all the blackjacks! Vote for your favorite group here and crown CL, Dara, Minzy and Bom "Best New Band in the World".
