Singer Kang Min Kyung of Davichi and the adorable Minah of Girl's Day have been casted in an upcoming sitcom titled "Vampire Idol".

On November 4th, Kang's agency, Core Contents Media revealed that Kang will appear in MBN's new sitcom "Vampire Idol" which will be aired in December. This will be her second acting role after her debut role in SBS TV series "Smile, Mom" which was showed from November last year to April of this year.

A representative explained, "Kang will transform herself in this project. Her role goes well with her original image."

It has been also revealed that Girl's Day member Minah are set to appear in the sitcom as well. This will be her first acting role since their group's debut last July 2010.

Other casts include comedian Shin Dong-yeop, actors Kim Soo-mi, Noh Min-woo and singer Lee Jung.

The daily sitcom is about the prince of a vampire world who attempts to become an idol in the human world.
