Singer Lena Park, also known as Park Jung-hyun, and actor Jang Keun-suk will promote the Nuclear Safety Summit slated to be held in Seoul in March next year.

A ceremony to name them as promotional ambassadors will take place in the Foreign Ministry building on Thursday, the task force that is preparing for the summit headed by Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan said on Friday.

A graduate from Columbia University in the U.S., Park was selected due to her popularity and fluency in English. She will sing the campaign song for the gathering in both languages. Jang will also record the song to raise awareness of nuclear security among younger people.
