Kpop groups CNBlue and KARA claimed  gold record accreditation according to Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

RIAJ revealed that KARA's fifth Japanese single, "Winter Magic" has been certified as a "Gold Album for Foreign Music". Released on October 19th, the album already sold more than 100,000 units awarding them a gold grade. This is the fourth time KARA achieved such a feat after the obtained gold status with their albums "Girl's Talk", "KARA BEST 2007-2010" and DVD "KARA BEST CLIPS".

The band CNBlue also recognized as a Gold Record with their first major Japanese release "In My Head". In just a month of going on sale, their album sold over 100,000 as well. Their single "In My Head" debuted on fourth place on the prestigious Oricon Chart and attracted over 7,000 fans to their guerilla concert to commemorate the release of the album.

Meanwhile, KARA is gearing off for the release of their special Japanese album "Super Girl" on November 23rd, while CNBlue will embark their concert tour in Japan starting December.
