Actor Jang Geun Seuk announced his plans on shutting down his Twitter account over the weekend. And on November 15th, the actor finally bid his farewell with his final tweet.

Few days ago, Jang Geun Seuk made an update saying, "I've met a lot of people and felt a lot from the world of Twitter which people call the way to communicate with world but I can't accept the distortion of the truth anymore.. Hence I will close my Twitter account as of midnight tomorrow.. If you really want to play with me, come to my application."

Upon reading the tweet, fans immediately worried and asked why he wanted to close his account. He replied, "A lot of people have asked... Why I'm quitting Twitter... To not get defeated by malicious online comments... To cheer up... But there's actually a separate real reason for it. I'm always out of battery... Both me and my battery are hungry..."

The actor later wrote, "They say that your Twitter account doesn't get deleted permanently. And even if I do delete it, someone will impersonate me on Twitter. What to do.. Someone tell me what to do.."

Yesterday, it appeared that Jang Geun Suk didn't delete his Twitter account. However, earlier today, the actor made his final tweet and officially announced it to his fans. He wrote, "Tweet storm, bye cri … please don’t use my ID falsely. Goodbye, the banner is finally hung on my office building, dong dong!".

 He also uploaded a photo of a giant poster of "You're My Pet" movie.
