After School former member Yoo So Young has been cast in Dream High 2.
Dream High 2 representative on December 14 said in TV Report interview, “Yoo So Young will appear as a student in Dream High 2.”

Aside from student role, no other details have been disclosed. The production staff is still in the process of finalizing the characters.

Netizens show interest as SoYoung and Kahi will both show their acting skills. The representative also said, "Kahi's role is a teacher and SoYoung as a student, therefore the two won't be competing in their roles."

Back in 2009, SoYoung graduated from After School and had been in hiatus after that. She made appearance as an actress in KBS’s drama series The Women of Our Home. In this, Dream High 2 will be her 2nd drama series and people are anticipating for her acting.

Dream High 2 will premiere on January 30 next year.
