Rock band FT Island will continue to storm Japan and revealed their plans on meeting with their Japanese fans in March of next year.
According to their official Japanese website on December 29th, FT Island will be holding a fan event titled "FT Island Official Fanmeeting 2012 ~ Congratulation! ~" for two consecutive days starting March 19th at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo.
FT Island has became extremely popular in Japan after having made its debut in 2010. In May, the band reached the No. 1 spot on Japan’s Oricon daily album chart with “Five Treasure Island” after selling over 37,000 copies during its first week.
Recently, the group has led a busy schedule in Japan with the release of their sixth Japanese single "Distance". The group also held a sold-out Christmas concert "FT Island X-mas Live 2011 - Winter’s Night" which attracted 30,000 fans.
