Solo artist Kim Hyun Joong is off to a good start this year as his debut single "Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy" which was officially released as a physical album on the 24th of January topped both digital and physical album charts. His album debuted first in the daily album chart in Oricon in Japan.

His album has been much anticipated by Japanese fans and upon release it already had 71,821 album sales. Thousands of fans flocked on record stores to buy his debut album and it just goes to prove how much popularity the solo artist has in Japan.
