On February 16th, hallyu star Lee Jun Ki finally reunited with his fans after the successful completion of his national military service.
At about 8AM, Lee Jun Ki was discharged from the military and the fans showed how eager they were to meet their star on this significant date. Hundreds of fans stayed up all night in front of the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan, in order to see Lee for the first time in a long time as close-up as possible.
As the star leaving the military, he gave a thank you speech for the fans that waited for him. He stated, "I am reporting. Lee Jun Ki is now being discharged from the military. Loyalty!" He continued, "“I was happy and gained strength from all of the attention when I entered the military. Thank you for coming today as I'm being discharged from the military. I will try my best."
Meanwhile, Lee will host a fan meeting later in the afternoon. The one-hour fan meet will take place at Sangmyung Art Center in Seoul. Around 655 domestic fans, as well as international fans from Japan and China, will attend the event. The meeting will allow fans to see their idol and watch him perform some of his songs.
