Actor Song Seung Hun will be making a small screen comeback through a new drama.

The actor has been cast as the male lead in the upcoming Japanese manga-based drama “Time Slip Dr. Jin”. Last appearing in the 2011 popular romantic comedy drama, “My Princess,” fans of Song Seung Hun have been impatiently waiting for the star to pick his next project.

According to the show's producer Lee Kim Productions on February 20th, Song Seung Hun will be playing the main role of a genuis yet cold-hearted doctor who was born into a doctor's family. Through magical powers, he can transcends time and space. He travels back to the Chosun Dynasty in 1860 and starts developing medicines to save people.

Lee Kim stated that the show will air on one of the three major networks, SBS, KBS or MBC and any detailed information including the premiere date will be announced within this week.
