Lee Seung Gi and
Ha Ji Won's upcoming drama series has officially confirmed to set its title as "
The King 2Hearts."
Originally titled as "
The King," director of the drama
Lee Jae Kyu modified its title to "
King2Hearts," as inspired by the song of Australian pop star
Kylie Minogue "
2 Hearts" which will serve as drama's motif.
However, according to the show's promoter
3HW on February 28, the title of the upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama will be changed to "The King 2Hearts."
An official for the drama explained, “We’ve been trying to think of a title that will match the drama’s story. After long consideration on the part of the writers and director, the title was confirmed as The King 2hearts.”
"The King 2Hearts" is a drama about the completing love between North Korean Prince Lee Jae Ha and Special Forces female sergeant Kim Hang Ah, overcoming the prejudice and interference around them during a so-called time of constitutional monarchy.
The drama will premiere on MBC on March 14 at 9:55PM KST.
