A new school in Niamadougou village in Burkina Faso, Africa has been established bearing CNBLUE’s name.

CNBLUE participated in a charity project to build a school in the town of Niamadougou and agreed to provide its yearly operational expenses. The boys will be donating a portion of the profits made from their albums and concert to help 100 pre-schoolers and 1,000 elementary and middle school students to attend school.

Burkina Faso is considered as one of the poorest countries in Africa where many children can’t attend school because their parents can’t afford to pay the tuition. The children instead sell items in the streets to help their family. Unfortunately, there have been a growing number of violence and exploitation of these abandoned children which emerged as one of the biggest problem of the country.

To aid support for these children, CNBLUE decided to support the ‘Build a School’ project. Their school opened up for class last month and is already welcoming new students.

FNC Entertainment stated, To repay the huge support and love from their fans, CNBLUE decided to set up a school, and plans to take an active role in sponsoring these children in the future.”
