[NewsN Kim Soyun Reporter] GO from MBLAQ is becoming another acting-dol as he continues to show stable acting skills. GO plays the role of Lee Taegyun in SBS Drama ‘Phantom’(Script by Kim Eunhee/Directed by Kim Hyungsik, Park Shinwoo) who is the youngest investigator of the cyber crime investigation unit. This is his first time acting but he is showing promising talent. GO’s début as an actor can be a surprise to many. The official acting-dole of MBLAQ is Lee Joon. Starting with his ‘Ninja Assassin’ appearance with Rain on 2009 before his debut, he was also in KBS 2TV drama “Jungle Fish 2″, sitcom “In need of a Fairy” and etc. Compare to him; GO was showing more talent as the lead vocal and song writing. However, GO’s fine acting skills calmed any worries from people soon. Lee Taegyun played by GO is a special employment for who was scouted while developing security program for a gaming company. Though he is a talented with computer, he is soft-hearted to be an investigator and has fear of “mobilizing”. He is usually easy going but when Kim Woohyun(played by So Jisup) gets suspected as Hades, he raises his voice and truly worries about him. Though this is GO’s first time acting, he is able to express various character of his role. The rapid growth of his talent is thanks to GO’s hard work and attitude. Director Kim Hyungsik said “When GO doesn’t have any scenes to shoot, he waits for many hours and learn from other actors” and “sometimes he remains until early in the morning” Co-actors are also gladly helping hard working GO. Though So Jisup is known to be taciturn, he volunteers to be GO’s acting teacher. When they are shooting together he gives detailed advises such as “I liked this part” “How about doing this for that scene” In addition Kwak Dowon, Gwon Haeyo, Im Jigu who plays the members of his team are also taking care of him.
