Actor Jang Geun Suk has reached over 5 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, solidifying his status as “Asia’s Prince”.
On July 30, Jang Geun Suk’s Weibo account has surpassed 5 million followers, making the actor the first non-Chinese star to claim the feat. The singer-actor has a clear lead among his foreigner compatriots as actor Tom Cruise lags in at second place with just 4.4 million followers.
Jang Geun Suk started up his Weibo account in August of 2011 and quickly attracted over 3 million followers in just six months.
Meanwhile, Jang Geun Suk will hold the Shanghai leg of his Asia tour “THE CRI SHOW 2” on August 11 and take the show to Taipei, Taiwan on September 1 and 2, respectively.
