Girl group 2NE1 successfully held its first exclusive concert in New Jersey, as a part of the group’s ongoing world concert tour, New Evolution.

On August 17th, 2NE1 held its first solo concert in the United States at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, which drew about 7,000 excited fans yelling the name of the girl group throughout the two-hour performance.

The concert began with 2NE1’s hit song “I Am the Best”, which received a lot of love from both Korea and the rest of the world. As expected, the audience immediately got on their feet and started moving with the dance number.

Each member also had a solo stage during the concert, with Park Bom singing “You And I,” and Sandara her solo song “Kiss.” Minzy staged a solo dance and CL showed off her DJ skills. The group sang a total of 23 songs.

2NE1 will now be heading to Los Angeles for its second and last US concert for 2012 on August 24 at the Nokia Theater. After the Los Angeles concert, the group moves on for a multi-city tour of Japan starting August 31 in Osaka.
