KARA has been named as the first Korean female group to hold an exclusive concert at the prestigious Tokyo Dome.

On October 8th, KARA announced at the ‘2012 Sigma Festival in Okinawa’ concert that they will be holding their first exclusive Tokyo Dome concert on January 6, 2013. The big achievement comes three years since the group first stepped foot in Japan, making them the first Korean girl group to do so.

This huge arena accommodates about 50,000 people, and it is known as the dream stage among Japanese singers. To this day, the only Korean artists to perform in the venue are TVXQ, Rain and Big Bang. KARA will now be able to proudly join the list, confirming their reputation in Japan as top stars.

Meanwhile, KARA is currently in Japan to promote its 7th Japanese single ‘Electric Boy’.
