YoonA and Jang Geun Suk’s ‘Love Rain’ to be turned into movie in Japan

KBS romantic drama ‘Love Rain’, starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, will be turned into a movie in Japan. According to the drama’s production company Yoon’s Color, ‘Love Rain’, which aired in Korea during the first half of last year, will be released in theaters across Japan next month. The movie version of ‘Love Rain’ will feature the highlights of the 20-episode drama in a two-part film. The first part will focus on characters’ past, while the second part focuses on the present. ‘Love Rain’ centers on a love story over two generations. It is a fantasy melodrama and Jang Geun Suk and Yoona play dual roles. The movie version is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 20.
