Super Junior Kangin has been chosen as the new MC for MBC Show Champion.

Following the previous MCs such as Shindong, Kim Shinyoung, Amber and Eunjung, Kangin is the new host of the music program.

The program's PD Park Chan Wook stated, "With his entertainment and variety shows' experiences, he has gained strong sense of the position and we believe that it's appropriate for us to have chosen him as the new MC."

Kangin is supposed to have a special stage on January 8 for his debut as Show Champion's MC, but because of the unfortunate passing away of his fellow member Leeteuk's father and grandparents on 6th, he decided to cancel it and start his MC-ing quietly to offer his sincere condolences.
