Jung Il Woo has been confirmed as the lead role for upcoming MBC's drama "The Night Watchman's Journal".

Star K Entertainment said on May 26th,"He will play the role of Lee Rin. He has never encountered such a character as a "night watchman" in any of his works before so it immediately caught his attention. Since this is the first time that he will portrait a new character like this so he feels very nervous but excited as he will be able to show another side of him. Please anticipate it!"

Jung Il Woo's role is a prince who has both looks and wealth but he lives recklessly in order to escape from the power struggles in the palace. One day he finds out his special ability to see ghosts and decides to become a night watchman.

"The Night Watchman's Journal" will take the background from Joseon Dynasty. It's scheduled to broadcast in July after "Triangle" ends.
