SBS has revealed that they are likely to bring '1000 Songs Challenge' back to life, which was already canceled in June, for next spring broadcast.

According to multiple official broadcasters from SBS on December 20th, they are currently discussing about the revival of '1000 Songs Challenge'. If everything goes through, the show is scheduled to make its return to broadcast in January - February next year.

A rep said,"The viewers of '1000 Songs Challenge' have shown by affection by appealing their opinions about the show's cancelation" while another rep said,"We haven't come out with a specific plan yet. The broadcast time hasn't been decided either".
