Girls' Generation's Yoona will challenge acting in a new Chinese historical drama.
'Three Kingdoms' is a drama based on Chinese novel 'Romance of The Three Kingdoms', which is acclaimed as one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature. The drama is set to broadcast on Hunan TV in August next year.
Yoona's character will be involved in a love line with Zhao Zilong, which will be played by Chinese actor Lin Gengxin.
'Three Kingdoms' will kick off its filming in January. Meanwhile, Yoona will appear as one of the hosts for '2014 KBS Gayo Daechukjae' which will take place today on December 26th.
