Comedian Lee Soo Geun revealed to make his variety comeback on 'SNL Korea' season 6 after 1 year and 6 months.

According to tvN, he will appear as a special guest on the May 16th's episode of 'SNL Korea', which is also the first episode for Kim Byung Man as a host of this season 6.

A rep of SM C&C said,"Since Lee Soo Geun is a longtime friend of Kim Byung Man so he was offered to guest on the show. After much consideration, he has decided to appear and great the viewers through the small screen after a long time".

Upon the news, many people are wondering if this will be the start of his broadcasting return, but the agency denied and said he still has no plans for it yet.

Lee Soo Geun was accused of illegal online gambling in November 2013. He paid 700 million as compensation and was sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment and 1 year of probation. From then on, he was banned to appear on broadcasting programs.

This episode of 'SNL Korea' will go on air on May 16th at 9:45PM KST.
