New 2015 Porsche 911 Targa Show Off Porsche Returning To Its Roots

The images here are purportedly patent photos of the production Porsche 911 Targa. They were published on TF1's Automoto section and are prototype models of the 991 generation Targa.
Porsche seems to be returning to the model's roots for the design of the top, sporting a removable section above the passenger compartment followed by a thick center B-pillar in front of a fixed, wraparound glass rear window.
The 991 Targa may make its debut early next year with two different engine choices - the base 350PS, 3,4 liter flat six and a stronger 400PS, 3.6 liter unit in "S" guise.
