Auto Express spoke to Nissan's development boss, Andy Palmer at the Frankfurt motor show. He explained that they are really interested in delivering a new sports car which will be different from the current 370Z, and that it will not resemble the Toyota GT86 in any way.

The new sports car is said to be smaller than the current Z, and the new model will borrow Juke Nismo's styling cues with a bit of electric ways being thrown in to it.

Finally, it is said to be previewed by a concept that Nissan will be revealing at the Tokyo motor show, at the middle of November. They're keeping us guessing now.
