Volvo Truck is promoting its new I-Shift Dual Clutch transmission, and it took on a 1,360hp Koenigsegg One:1 on track. How is this a fair fight you wonder?

The challenge was to see if the Volvo truck can cover one lap of the Knutstorp race track quicker than the Koenigsegg can cover two laps.

The Volvo FH truck was driven by experienced motor racing personality Tiff Needell. He had never raced in a truck before.

“I-Shift Dual Clutch is absolutely incredible. It is particularly noticeable on slopes, the truck does not hold back – it just flows smoothly, without the gear changes being felt. When you brake, it switches down very softly and comfortably. The truck definitely has the heart of a sports car,” said Tiff Needell.
