Jaguar's new XE has a lot of tech. It features an all-new InControl infotainment system with an 8 inch touchscreen and full smartphone integration for both iOS and Android devices. It also functions as a Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple devices.

There will be variety of apps that will allow smartphone users to control functions from door locking to engine starting from anywhere in the world. The XE will also debut a laser head-up display (HUD), which Jaguar claims, is an industry-first.

"Projecting sharp, high-contrast colour images onto the windscreen, the technology provides the driver with information such as speed and navigation instructions with maximum clarity and minimum distraction. As well as better image quality, the laser HUD is smaller and almost a third lighter than existing systems," said Jaguar in a statement.
