Mercedes-Benz is currently winning when it comes to social media, according to a recent study by eBench, a team of social media experts. They dominate their closest seven rivals with the largest size, growth and engagement metrics.

They rule everyone when it comes to Instagram, and has the largest number of followers and engagement compared to its rivals.

This is most important because, unlike Facebook, Instagram doesn't offer sponsored deals for content providers, so the engagement is more organic.

The ten automotive brands that took part in the social media study are Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus and Lamborghini.
