This is Mercedes's Porsche 911 challenger - the AMG GT. It will compete in a different category and carry a more reasonable sticker price compared to the SLS AMG.

Following the global success of the SLS AMG, the new GT is the second sports car developed fully independently by Mercedes-AMG. An initial exclusive look at the design of the interior shows what is in store for our customers: a GT sports car in its purest form," added Moers.
The world premiere of the car will take place later this year, possibly at the Paris Motor Show in October.
