The Next Gen VW Scirocco Might Be a Super-Sporty RS Model

Car Magazine says that Volkswagen is currently not sure if it will take the next gen Scirocco into a practical, cheaper version or do they turn it into a sports car.
The Wolfsburg giant will have no trouble sourcing the necessary engineering know-how and parts needed to create a 300+ hp 4Motion rocket, but the question is “should they?”
There is a proposed model floating around, and it would be above the Golf's weight, and will rival Audi's S and RS badged models.
For now, these are all speculations, as the current Scirocco just went through a facelift. A new model wouldn't be anytime before 2017.
