ABT Sportsline will debut the new Golf GTI Dark Edition. And its name comes from the black body color that contrasts the red accents used on the inner grille piece, headlamps, and ABT's aero kit for the bumper aprons, side skirts and roof spoiler.

It also has 20-inch CR wheels shod in 235/30 R20 tires and smoked tail light clusters and quad exhaust pipes.

ABT uprated the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine from 217hp (220PS) to a Golf R-matching 296hp (300PS), stating that the hot hatch can now complete the 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration in 5.8 seconds, 0.8 seconds faster than the factory model.
