Mercedes-Benz's W447-codenamed replacement of the current Viano and Vito passenger and light commercial vans will be officially introduced in a special presentation in Munich, Germany this Thursday.

Mercedes stated the following:
"The V-Class offers an elegantly designed body and interior in the style of a Mercedes-Benz passenger car, a spacious and highly versatile compartment and efficient drive systems, combined with the highest level of comfort in its segment. It turns in an impressive performance both as a spacious family car and flexible vehicle for leisure activities and as a luxury people carrier, for example when used as a shuttle bus."
The new V-Class will go on sale during the second quarter of the year in Europe.
