Professional opera, concert, and choral singer Ambroz Bajec-Lapajne was diagnosed with a brain tumor and he had to undergo surgery to remove it. But instead of being sedated, his doctors advised him to be awake during the procedure so they could accurately gauge which parts of the brain they were working with. He decides to even perform Schubert's Gute Nacht during the surgery.
