Victoria Beckham is considered to be quite a new comer to the fashion industry. And she's gaining lots of popularity. In the U.S., she took the crown for being the most search for fashion designer of 2013.

Michael Kors followed in the number two spot, and he was in the top results for the second year in a row. Last year he was at the number one spot.

Ralph Lauren took the third spot and both Chanel and Gucci remained strong too.

5. Kimora Lee Simmons — Kimora Lee Simmons made it to the fifth most searched designer of 2013. She is the president and creative director of JustFab.com.

6. Gucci — Gucci continues to be one of the most globally recognized influencers in the fashion world.

7. Tory Burch — Tory Burch's designs are frequently spotted on the runways. Forbes estimated that the designer has a net worth of $1 billion now. She is the second youngest self made female billionaire in the U.S.

8. Kate Spade — In 2013, Kate Spade New York launched a new fragrance, Live Colorfully, marking the 20th anniversary of the brand.

9. Steve Madden — Steve Madden's shoes, boots and accessories are common sights on the street-style savvy.
