Is it possible to be so conventionally attractive that people find you forgettable? According to researchers at Germany's University of Jena, being ugly (or having some sort of remarkable features) is what actually makes people more memorable.

During the study, the participants were more likely to recognize a face that they'd never seen before compared to pictures of conventionally "pretty" faces."  Faces that were misshapen, lopsided, melting, pimpled, or otherwise distinctive were the ones that stood out the most.

Hmm, this probably could explain why so many people have a hard time telling apart all those pop stars in Korea..
