The time of dilemma is nearing. You're now married, and you're no longer on the receiving end of free money during Chinese New Year. Instead, you've got to be dolling out cash like a walking ATM. But do you really have to give someone older and unmarried? Here are a few scenarios:

1. If they're unmarried and single and they're near 40-years-old.

Do you give them ang pow?

   Yes. Unfortunately.

   Absolutely not!

2. If you are in a different age bracket, and they're older and unmarried.

Do you give them ang pow?

Yes, but it seems weird to do so.

No. It IS weird to do so.

Do you follow tradition and give them ang pow? Or is there even such a thing to begin with? To give, or not to give?
