It's been two years since the Jessica Alba launched The Honest Company, which makes non-toxic baby products including diapers and household cleaners.

During an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to discuss motherhood and her new role in IFC's "The Spoils of Babylon," she revealed that she initially had doubts it would work, mainly because other people kept telling her it was a bad idea:
"I wanted clean, safe, effective products that were affordable and beautifully designed and I couldn't find that in the marketplace," said Alba. "... There wasn't really a family brand that spoke to me as a young mom."

"People thought I was nuts," said Alba. The actress says people's reactions ranged from, "'Can you just do a perfume or something?'" to "'Baby diapers, really?""
Luckily for Alba, diapers ended up being a good investment. The start-up is now estimated to be worth a total of $52 million.
