Talk about embarrassing. The adidas T-shirts you see above being sold by in the USA were apparently designed as a way to promote Rio de Janeiro's famous beaches.

Turns out the juxtaposition of woman in a bikini and the slogan, "looking to score" didn't quite sit well with the locals. The same can be said for the "I [heart] Brazil" tee which clearly depicts the heart as woman's butt in a thong.

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff was so unimpressed that she tweeted "Brazil is happy to receive tourists for the World Cup, but it is also ready to combat sex tourism." She also included a hot line number to report cases of sexual exploitation in the country.

The president has also said that Brazil would crack down on sex tourism and the exploitation of children and adolescents during the Cup, which is expected to draw 600,000 foreign fans.
