Apple just made its iPhone camera much better in hopes that people really care about the quality of their images.

True Tone flash

There's a new flash system that will keep the blast of light from ruining your photos. The solution is to use "True Tone Flash", which is actually a set of dual LED lights. One is warm amber and the other cool white.  There are over 1,000 variations of flash suited to different situations—that's going to make a big difference.

Improved sensor

The 8-megapixel iSight camera has a 15 percent-larger image sensor, so you'll get bigger pixels. They are 1.5 microns across which is larger than the pixels on top of Nokia phones like the Lumia 925 and Lumia 928.

The lens are faster too at f/2.2 and Apple says the new camera is 33 percent more light sensitive than its predecessor.

Video

The best part of this is being able to shoot 1280 x 720 video at 120 fps and playing it back at 30 fps for slow motion. Need we say more?

Camera app

Apple's juicing the camera app with features in hopes that you might actually use it instead of jumping directly to other apps.

Are you convinced yet?
