A new tower is set to rise in the outskirts of Seoul. The project by GDS architects proclaimed that its Tower Infinity an "anti-landmark". It also kind of looks like it's invisible.



The skyscraper can actually disappear into the night sky. Of course, that's not great for planes in the air.

The tower revolves around using a cutting edge LED facade system allowing visual information behind the skyscraper to be captured and projected on the tower's surface, allowing it to blend in to the background.



GDS Architects says that this feature sets it apart from other buildings, and “Instead of symbolizing prominence as another of the world’s tallest and best towers, our solution aims to provide the World’s first invisible tower, showcasing innovative Korean technology while encouraging a more Global narrative in the process.”
