There's progress in the medical world today. Just two years ago, Anthony Atala went on a TED stage to show that human organs could be 3D printed.

Today, a team from eastern China has successfully printed a series of living kidneys. Science scores!

Atala's original 3D printed kidneys were made with a bio-ink that replicated kidney tissue. The team from China's are living ones.

Check out the video below, and it's only a matter of time before we can start printing full sized ones.
