Microsoft's Surface tablets aren't bad products. They're just not interesting enough for anyone who isn't a Windows fan. But Microsoft is working to change all of that.

The product's chief manager Panos Panay spilled some juicy info about Microsoft's future plans for the line. The horizontal-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio isn't the only design Microsoft plans to release. GeekWire reports:
“We have a lot of great things that we are thinking about and working on, and there are multiple aspect ratios and sizes and awesome things to come from Surface,” he said. “That’s the best answer I have for you.”
And since we saw the latest iteration of Surface tablets a week ago, it's highly unlikely we'll be getting any new development updates anytime soon. Stay tuned!
