McLaren is looking to take the tech behind the military's spotless windshields and put them into cars. The secret as it turns out, isn't a magic water coating but hypersonic shielding.

Nothing can stick to a windshield equipped with this. An unlike regular windshield wipers, the hypersonic shield's wipers are always on.

McLaren wants to create a wiper-less windshield, and this tech could work by attaching a hypersonic transducer to the corner of the glass which would theoretically vibrate anything off the windshield instantly.

McLaren is planning on implementing the tech on its entire line of cars by 2015.
