Apple's new headquarters have received the final approval from the City of Cupertino to get it started. Didn't it get the approval already?

Cook & Co. will finally receive a full set of building permits on November 20th. Cupertino Mayor Orrin Mahoney enthusiastically explained:
"Go for it. We're eager to see it happen. Go for it."
The building was designed by British architect Norman Foster and is designed to promote collaboration by connecting the interior and exterior spaces through a long, continuous corridor. And more of course.

Apple plans to finish the first phase of construction by 2016. [Mac Rumors]
