BMW released a new version of the X6 M called the "Design Edition". It brings a series of styling upgrades for both interior and exterior.

The car comes with 21 inch M Performance double spoke light alloy wheels, and an M Performance carbon front splitter, rear spoiler and miror caps, matte black kidney grille, black rear diffuser and optional M Performance stripes.

The interior gets a full leather interior with Bicolor Black / Mugello Red and contrast stitching in Mugello Red.

The BMW X6 M is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine developing 550 horsepower (555PS) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

BMW says it will build 100 units of the X6 M Design Edition. Pricing and launch details have yet to be announced.
