Driverless cars are likely to be a part of our future pretty soon, but Japan is leading the way already. This driverless Nissan LEAF just got its world's first national driver's license.

Nissan is getting ahead of itself and is so ambitious that they believe they will be selling autonomous cars by the year 2020.

Similar test vehicles from Audi, Volvo, and of course Google have already hit the roads, and Mercedes is also joining the fray.

How soon will we be seeing driverless cars on the roads? Realistically that is.
