Following the announcement of the expiration of
Lee Da Hae's contract with
DBM Entertainment last December, several large-scale management agencies were scrambling to get in contact with the actress in hopes of nabbing a contract. And after considering a number of offers, Lee Da Hae has signed with
Forestar Entertainment.
On February 29, the agency announced that Lee Da Hae made the decision to sign with Forestar Entertainment, the company that has been successfully sending many of its signed celebrities to markets in China and elsewhere and also manages the career of actor
Jung Sukwon.
"I wanted to be part of an agency that I felt comfortable with and I knew that Forestar was the right choice for me in order to pursue my activities in the country and abroad," Lee Da Hae said in the statement.
Forestar CEO stated, "Lee has prepared herself for a long time by learning English and Chinese and we feel that she will have no problems with taking on an international project."
The actress is currently preparing to advance into the Chinese market through dramas, movies and advertisements before she begins to prepare for her entry into Hollywood.
