The Xbox One is going to be feature-laden. And admittedly pretty awesome. It will have a feature called HDMI pass-through, which will allow you to plug in your cable box into it and run your entire television experience via the Xbox One.
Check it out below:
The features in Xbox One are fast, which means you'll probably end up using them. They dedicated a sizable chunk of the Xbox One's RAM to allow for fast app switching.
The One Guide will look like any channel guide you've seen, and Microsoft will allow you to create new channels based on apps like Hulu Plus. Mapping new media to an old-school, spreadsheet guide could prove a smart approach.
Then, there's notifications, which will feed over all of the TV programming you watch, allowing Microsoft to subtly engage TV viewers.
The Xbox One comes out November 22nd for $500.
