MIT's Mary Lou Jepson, head of Google X, stated that Google Glass 2 had her and her Google X team sleeping only three hours a night.
Glass 2 hasn't been officially released just yet, and Glass 1 is only going to be selling by end of the year. Jepson says that getting the second generation headset ready is a high priority.
Google X has been working with fashion conscious eyewear retailer Warby Parker, and the partnership may produce Glass 2 in a more traditional eyewear format or at least feature a design which would be considered fashionable.
And judging by the amount of hours Google X team is sleeping, it may be near completion too and we could see it as early as next year.
Google Glass 2 could actually be the consumer market version of Glass, with the first generation simply functioning as a developer version.
Would you wear Glass if it looked chic? What do you think?
