BMW has a new app, that they think you should download when you buy an M performance model to pair it with your vehicle. You can take it to a circuit and have a detailed analysis of each lap you run with it.

Called M Laptimer App, it works on newer models equipped with the Professional variant of the infotainment system. The information can record and replay stuff which makes it more useful than just a lap timer.

It will provide real time review of any lap and captures throttle, braking and steering input, and g-force and rpm and fuel efficiency.
