Would you buy an autonomous car in the future? A study by ORC International for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies put forth by
Forbes is suggesting that consumers may not want a self driving car anytime soon.
Findings indicated that just 18 percent of those asked were ready to wholeheartedly buy a self-driving car, while only 22 percent reportedly felt confident enough to allow a loved one to take a ride in such a vehicle.
Two thirds were skeptical about it.
Even after all those tests, people are still not convinced just yet. They would rather adopt other safety features like lane departure warnings and adaptive cruise control and more.
